Clinical IT, Zero-Latency VoIP & Security at Mamatha Ganga Hospital

Ahaasmi Network Architects • Deployments

In a modern healthcare facility, network latency can literally become a life-or-death issue. When doctors need to be reached for "Code Blue" emergencies, or when perimeter security must ensure patient safety 24/7, standard commercial networking fails. Ahaasmi Technologies was contracted to completely overhaul the infrastructure at Mamatha Ganga Multispeciality Hospital in KR Nagar, delivering a fully integrated, zero-downtime medical network.

The Challenge: Isolated Systems & Dead Zones

The 4-floor concrete structure of the hospital presented massive RF penetration challenges, resulting in cellular dead zones. Doctors moving between wards were missing critical internal calls. Furthermore, the legacy analog CCTV system was failing, leaving critical zones like the ICU entrance and pharmacy unmonitored. The hospital required a single, unified digital backbone to handle IP surveillance, Wi-Fi, and VoIP telecommunications without bottlenecks.

The Solution: A 4-Tier Medical Architecture

Our deployment strategy focused on creating a redundant physical layer that could guarantee the uptime required for clinical operations, followed by the logical separation of medical devices from public guest traffic.

  • 1
Redundant Fiber Optic Backbone We deployed a Fluke DSX-certified optical fiber backbone connecting all 4 floors to a centralized core rack. This ensured that even during peak traffic hours, internal network speed between wards remained at Gigabit levels with zero packet loss.
  • 2
Unified Clinical VoIP (Grandstream) To solve the communication gap, we integrated a Grandstream UCM6300A IP-PBX system paired with 10 roaming Wi-Fi IP Phones. Using Quality of Service (QoS) protocols, we prioritized VoIP traffic on the network, ensuring doctors receive instant, crystal-clear calls anywhere in the building.
  • 3
STQC-Compliant IP Surveillance Grid We secured the facility by installing a 60-camera IP surveillance grid using CP-Plus hardware. All feeds are routed via isolated VLANs to a central 64-Channel NVR equipped with RAID storage for secure, tamper-proof medical compliance archiving.
  • 4
High-Density Wireless Edge TP-Link EAP245 Access Points were deployed across the ceilings of all corridors and waiting areas. We configured strict microsegmentation to ensure public patient Wi-Fi remains entirely separated from the hospital's internal medical and VoIP networks.

Enterprise Hardware Deployed

60x CP-Plus IP Cameras
1x 64-Channel CP-Plus NVR
Grandstream UCM6300A PBX
10x Grandstream Wi-Fi IP Phones
TP-Link EAP245 Access Points & Core Fiber Racks

The Result: Seamless Clinical Operations

Mamatha Ganga Multispeciality Hospital now operates on a true enterprise-grade backbone. The SCADA-level reliability ensures the IP cameras never drop a frame, while the clinical staff experiences absolute zero-latency on internal emergency calls. By managing the entire stack under an active SLA, Ahaasmi guarantees the hospital's IT infrastructure will remain robust and legally compliant 24/7.
